An installation done right.
You are an experienced electrician with at least a completed mbo level 4 qualification in electrical engineering. You independently install home batteries and distribution boards, from preparation to a safe, complete handover. Depart from Roermond and work across Limburg and Central/East Brabant.
Your responsibilities.
- Prepare the technical execution of your installation and check materials.
- Install home batteries and inverters, and build or modify distribution boards.
- Independently measure, test, diagnose faults and commission systems.
- Explain systems to customers and document the handover with photographs, settings and test results.
- Provide practical technical guidance to an assistant working on your installation.
Know where
you stand.
The amount includes full payment in lieu of ADV working-time reduction days and excludes 8% holiday allowance. Pay is calculated pro rata for fewer hours.
Your starting level depends on relevant experience, independence and professional competence, applying the Dutch collective labour agreement for the technical installation sector (CAO Metaal en Techniek – Technisch Installatiebedrijf). Actual duties determine final job classification.
What you bring.
- At least a completed mbo level 4 qualification in electrical engineering.
- Demonstrable experience independently and safely completing electrical installations.
- Knowledge of NEN 1010 and NEN 3140 and the professional competence appropriate to the work.
- The ability to explain technical decisions and recognise when coordination is needed.
- A tidy working approach, clear communication and availability for 32–40 hours per week.
Independence on your installation.
You have room to apply your skills and may guide an assistant installer. This is a hands-on all-round role on individual installations; coordinating multiple installation teams is outside the vacancy. Full-time employment includes 25 annual leave days. ADV is paid out within the advertised salary range, with 8% holiday allowance on top.

Is an mbo level 4 qualification enough to start at this level?
We require both the qualification and demonstrable independent practical experience. We discuss installations you have personally prepared, connected, tested and handed over.
Can I guide an assistant installer?
Yes, on your own installation, where you oversee quality and safe execution. This is not a vacancy for an installation team manager.
What is included in the salary range?
The advertised gross monthly amounts are based on 40 hours, including fully paid ADV and excluding 8% holiday allowance. Final grading reflects the duties and relevant experience under the applicable collective labour agreement.
